When it comes to meeting the needs of students, differential instructional teaching is important for both teachers and students in terms of education. According to the article, Using VoiceThread to Promote Learning Engagement and Success for All Students by Stein Brunvand and Sara Byrd, “innovative technological tools, programs, and software can be used to promote student engagement, motivation, and ultimately enhance the quality of the learning experience for all students.” Educational strategies to aim for a more desire to learn, teachers should implement innovative technological tools, programs, and software to promote student engagement, increase motivation, enhance the quality of learning experience for students with disabilities, and increase learner independence.  One computer tool, known as Voice Thread, can be implemented in classrooms to increase student motivation and engagement while being a meaningful educational experience. Voice Thread is an interactive, multimedia slide show tools that allows users to hold conversations relating to images, documents, and videos. With this tool being easily accessible, cost-effective, and relatable to all grades and content areas, Voice Thread allows students to collaborate and engage in various ways at their own pace. When it comes to different disabilities, whether it’s learning, social-emotional, or behavioral, Voice Threads can help students with special needs who face learning challenges in terms of promoting student engagement and motivation as well as helping students develop as independent learners. Voice Thread can be used in a classroom setting, K-12,  in small, large, or individual groups and can be assessed at home, classroom, computer lab, library, or else where a computer with internet can be assessed.
